Fun fact : Blueberries are packed full of flavor and nutrients! They are supposed to be good for your heart and your brain, and of course for your tongue because they are SO delicious!
Tanmaya’s Blueberry Compote Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 2):
- 1/3 cup blueberries
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Add sugar, vanilla and cinnamon to the blueberries.
Microwave for 20 seconds.
Check on how soft the blueberries are, if needed microwave another 15 seconds.
Note : If not careful, the mixture can splatter in the microwave, so check on it every 20 seconds. If you increase the quantity, scale proportions of ingredients accordingly, but keep the microwave 20 second rule.
